Notes: I would like to sincerely give my appreciation and apologies to moe. Tour Manager, Skip Richman. I disobeyed the house rules and ran FOB during the first set. When accosted by security, I did eveything I could - like a rat that I am - to continue taping FOB. This essentially came down to me dropping his name to get security off my back but instead they fetched Skip to tell me to break down. Skip was understanding to let me finish the first set despite he and security being unhappy with the situation. After listening to this carefully I have to say that moe. Soundman, Steve Young, did a fabulous job of mixing at the AX, the sound was just as good back there as it was up front. I have learned a valuable lesson as a taper from this embarassing episode: location is important but the mix is more important! I also want to extend my thanks to Julie Glendenning for her coaxing me to the show. I had been on the fence about moe. for the past four years and had a wonderful time seeing them this time. Last but not least, a super huge thanks to Bill Martin. He kept me company and ran along side with him (b/c I told him it was OK). He helped to smooth things over between me and Skip.
